Using cqlsh with Kerberos security

Install required packages to use cqlsh with Kerberos.

Procedure

To use cqlsh with Kerberos:

  1. Install the python-kerberos and python-pure-sasl packages.
    See Installing the cqlsh security packages.
  2. Create a cqlshrc file in your ~/.cassandra or client program ~/.cassandra directory.
