DataStax Mission Control uses the K8ssandra security defaults, secrets, and options for cluster authentication and role-based authorization. K8ssandra enables authentication and authorization by default.
Out-of-the-box, always on, security in-flight exists for all components within the system. Optionally, it is possible to increase encryption of data stored within DSE with simple enabling or disabling of configuration settings.
