Product compatibility

This page describes DataStax Enterprise, Apache Cassandra®, CQL, and SSTable compatibility.

The following tables list supported versions of DataStax Enterprise (DSE) and the corresponding Apache Cassandra, CQL, and SSTable versions.

DSE versions can be current (supported), EOL, or EOSL. When a version reaches EOL and EOSL, DataStax limits or discontinues updates:

End of Life (EOL): Patches and bug fixes aren’t available.
End of Service Life (EOSL): Patches, bug fixes, and support aren’t available. Documentation updates aren’t provided.

DataStax driver compatibility with DSE and Apache Cassandra

The DataStax Bulk Loader is supported on Linux, macOS, and Microsoft Windows platforms. Using dsbulk commands, you can load and unload CSV and JSON files to and from the following supported databases:

DataStax Astra DB databases
DataStax Enterprise (DSE) 4.7 and later databases
Open source Apache Cassandra® 2.1 and later databases

Documentation maintenance policy

After a DataStax Enterprise version reaches EOSL, corresponding products aren’t supported and documentation updates aren’t provided.
