Stop a Hyper-Converged Database (HCD) node

Steps for stopping the Hyper-Converged Database (HCD) process when HCD was installed from a binary tarball.

Procedure

  1. Change directory to the <install_dir>.

    For example, if HCD is unpacked in /path/to/hcd:

    cd /path/to/hcd
  2. From the installation directory, stop the node:

    bin/hcd cassandra-stop
