Start and stop Hyper-Converged Database (HCD)

You can start and stop Hyper-Converged Database (HCD) as a stand-alone process if installed with the binary tarball. Otherwise, perform database operations such as rolling restarts with Mission Control.

After you install and configure HCD on one or more nodes, start your cluster beginning with the seed nodes.

Packaged installations include start-up and stop scripts for running HCD as a service. Binary tarballs do not.
