Start and stop Hyper-Converged Database (HCD)

You can start and stop Hyper-Converged Database (HCD) as a stand-alone process if installed with the binary tarball. Otherwise, use Mission Control to perform database operations, such as rolling restarts.

Packaged installations include start-up and stop scripts for running HCD as a service. Binary tarballs do not.

When starting a new cluster, start seed nodes first, and then start non-seed nodes. If you need to stop a node, see Stop a Hyper-Converged Database (HCD) node.
