Configure snitches for cloud providers

Use these snitches for deployments in specific cloud provider environments. For other snitch types, see Topology awareness through snitches.

Ec2Snitch

Use the Ec2Snitch for an Amazon EC2 deployments that are in a single region.

Ec2MultiRegionSnitch

Use the Ec2MultiRegionSnitch for Amazon EC2 deployments where the cluster spans multiple regions.

GoogleCloudSnitch

Use the GoogleCloudSnitch for Hyper-Converged Database (HCD) deployments on Google Cloud Platform across one or more regions.

CloudstackSnitch

Use the CloudstackSnitch for Apache CloudStack® environments.

AlibabaCloudSnitch

A snitch for the Alibaba Cloud platform. It assumes the Alibaba Elastic Compute Service region is a datacenter and an ECS availability zone is a rack. The format of the zone ID is cn-hangzhou-a where cn stands for China, hangzhou is the Hangzhou region, and a is the availability zone.
