Synopsis
nodetool <options> describecluster -- <datacenter>
- Options are:
- ( -h | --host ) <host name> | <ip address>
- ( -p | --port ) <port number>
- ( -pw | --password ) <password >
- ( -u | --username ) <user name>
- ( -pwf <passwordFilePath | --password-file <passwordFilePath> )
- -- separates an option and argument that could be mistaken for a option.
- datacenter is the name of an arbitrarily chosen datacenter from which to select sources for streaming.

Describe cluster is typically used to validate the schema after upgrading. If a schema disagreement occurs, see the Support KB.
