Setting up an Astra DB database on Google Cloud

Navigate to the Astra DB for Google Cloud landing page:

If you haven’t done so already, create a Google Cloud billing account here. Once you’ve created a billing account, click PURCHASE:

Scroll down the page, and select the Free Plan:

Then accept the terms and click SUBSCRIBE:

Navigate back to the product details page, then click ENABLE:

Review the terms, then click AGREE:

Create your first Astra DB database by clicking CREATE DATABASE:

Set your database name, keyspace name, region, username and password, then click CREATE:

Once your database has finished initializing, click LAUNCH DATASTAX CONSOLE:
