Upgrading the DataStax AMI
About this task
DataStax no longer hosts the DataStax ComboAMI. You can install DataStax Enterprise in two ways:

Create your instances using an AMI for a supported platform and from a trusted source. Then you can use the the appropriate install method 6.8 | 5.1 for your platform.

Use the Lifecycle Manager in OpsCenter to easily provision a DataStax Enterprise cluster for versions 5.1 and later:

Create your instances using an AMI for a supported platform and from a trusted source.

Use the Lifecycle Manager: 6.8 to provision and configure your cluster.
