Supported operators and components

Mission Control is a platform that enterprises and developers can use to run DataStax Enterprise (DSE), Hyper-Converged Database (HCD), and Apache Cassandra® on self-managed infrastructures. The following operators and components are covered by the IBM support policy for Mission Control, and they have been tested with Mission Control.

For supported operators and platform component versions, see the Mission Control release notes for the version you are using.

  • HCD 1.x with an HCD license

  • DSE 6.8.x with a DSE license

  • DSE 6.9.x with a DSE license

  • Apache Cassandra® 3.11.x, 4.0.x, and 4.1.x with an IBM Elite Support for Apache Cassandra license

Third-party software

Deployment and configuration of S3-compatible object storage solutions such as RedHat Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation Object Bucket Claim or SeaweedFS are out of scope for Mission Control support. These solutions can be used for backup storage and metrics storage in environments without cloud-based object storage.
