Vercel can use Astra DB Serverless to store and retrieve vectors for your frontend applications. This tutorial shows you how to integrate Astra DB Serverless with Vercel.

Add the Astra DB Vercel integration

You can add the DataStax Astra DB integration to your Vercel account from the Vercel Integrations Marketplace.

Manage Astra DB access to Vercel

After you add the integration, Astra DB has access to your Vercel projects. You can manage this access in the Vercel Dashboard.

  1. In the Vercel Dashboard, open your Vercel project.

  2. Click Settings, and then select Integrations.

  3. Locate the Astra DB integration, and then click Configure.

From here you can review and manage the integrations permissions and access:

  • In the Permissions section, you can review and manage the integration’s permissions in this Vercel project.

  • In the Access section, you can get a list of Vercel projects that the integration can access. To change the projects associated with the integration, click Manage Access.

Multiple Vercel projects can integrate with the same Astra DB database.

Remove the Vercel integration

To remove the Vercel integration, you must remove it from your Vercel project and your Astra DB organization.

  1. In the Vercel Dashboard, open your Vercel project.

  2. Click Settings, and then select Integrations.

  3. Locate the Astra DB integration, and then click Configure.

  4. Click Remove Integration.

  5. In the Astra Portal, go to Integrations.

  6. In the Active integrations section, make sure the Vercel integration is not listed. If it is listed, click Remove.

Your Vercel projects are no longer connected to your Astra DB databases.
