nodetool bootstrap resume

Resumes the bootstrap process on one or more nodes.

nodetool bootstrap resume operates on a single node in the cluster if -h is not used to identify one or more other nodes. When the target of this command is the local node, you do not need the -h option to identify the target. To run this command on remote nodes, identify one or more target nodes with -h.

If a username and password for RMI authentication are set explicitly in the cassandra-env.sh file for the host, you must specify credentials.

For tarball installations, you must run this command from the INSTALL_DIRECTORY/resources/cassandra/bin directory.

Synopsis

nodetool [<connection_options>] bootstrap resume [-h <hostname_or_ip>]

Definition

The short- and long-form options are comma-separated.

Connection options

-h, --host hostname: The hostname or IP address of a remote node or nodes. When omitted, the default is the local machine.
-p, --port jmx_port: The JMX port number.
-pw, --password jmxpassword: The JMX password for authenticating with secure JMX. If a password is not provided, you are prompted to enter one.
-pwf, --password-file jmx_password_filepath: The filepath to the file that stores JMX authentication credentials.
-u, --username jmx_username: The username for authenticating with secure JMX.
