not

Exclude a specified object from the traversal.

Synopsis

not(traversal)

Description

The not() step is a filter step that excludes the objects specified.

Examples

If a vertex is not a fridgeSensor or a meal, group each vertex type and list by name:

g.V().not(hasLabel('fridgeSensor').or().hasLabel('meal')).
  group().by(label).by('name')
