subGraph

Get a subgraph of the full graph.

Synopsis

subGraph('subGraph\_name')

Description

The subGraph() step is a sideEffect step that provides a way to produce an edge-induced subgraph from virtually any traversal. This step is useful for visualization or further analysis on a smaller subset of the full graph.

Examples

Get a subgraph of all the stores and their stocked items, excluding stores without stocked items and items that are not available in any store:

g.E().hasLabel('isStockedWith').subgraph('subGraph').cap('subGraph').next()
