After enabling DataStax Unified Authentication you must provide credentials if a client request access the database or uses the Java Management Extension (JMX).

Upgrading to DSE Unified Authentication usually requires rebuilding applications with the latest driver, which allows authentication scheme selection. DataStax Enterprise drivers support all features of the Cassandra drivers. |
